Life Groups…living life together
"And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another…" Hebrews 10:24-25
LIFE groups are small groups of adults who commit to meet together to form authentic relationships, to support and care for one another, and to seek to grow in their faith as disciples of Christ. LIFE groups live faith together by getting to know one another, being real with each other, supporting and praying for each other, growing closer to Christ, and serving together. LIFE groups are groups of ideally 8 to 10 people who commit to meet weekly or bi-weekly for 6 to 12 months, either in member’s homes or at Harvest. Group meetings will last 1.5 to 2 hours with time for both fellowship and study. Your LIFE group will spend one hour of the time spent together in study, using resources chosen to meet the spiritual growth needs of individuals within the group. During the year, your group will also be encouraged to commit to serve in the community at least once every six months. The group will decide together which mission initiative to support and coordinate a time so everyone can serve together.
